This is where my library journey all began. I walked into a room with furniture every where, books in stacks in who knows what order. Some books had barcodes some did not. Many were on shelves and somewhat organized but they desperately needed to be weeded. The librarian before me had gotten angry and ripped everything off the walls and stormed out. It took me forever to even find out what the password was. I didn't know how to use Follett Destiny Software. I had no clue how to even be a librarian. I was so overwhelmed that day and I wondered what I had gotten myself into. I took it a day at at time and look what I created. It's kind of cool to look back. I took this picture right before I was asked to leave because of budget cuts. It was a very sad day in my professional life. I had created a magical place and had to walk away. On to the next journey.
